DR Queries - a general approch

·      List of applications/Servers which are on DR Scope
·      What are the different Operating Systems we recover?
·      Where are the Protected and Recovery Sites? (Location)
·      What is the agreed RPO and RTO
·      Do we have physical Servers in DR scope? What is the DR recovery currently being followed?
·      What is the replication method being used? Is it a SAN level replication OR VMware level replication?
·      What is the Replication / Disaster Recovery tools being used currently?
·      Is it an asynchronous replication or Synchronous Replication?
·      Are we performing a real Disaster test? (Applications failed over to DR site and then Failed back to Primary Site)
·      OR
·      Are we performing a real Disaster test rehearsal?
·      if so
·      are the Applications recovered in a network bubble with the same IP address as production IP? (on Isolated Network Bubble )
·      OR are the applications recovered with different IP addresses to overcome IP conflict with production?
·      How AD and DNS is being implemented for DR purpose.
